I love looking back through my files to find image in my archives. I always find a jewel that I didn't really see before. This is a beautiful farm in the Pennsylvania Amish country. Taken on our trip home after dropping Meredith off in New York--January 2007.

Old Glory
I took this shot from the 2nd floor of Independence Hall in Philadelphia, PA a couple of years ago. I happened to walk past this window and noticed "Old Glory" . I thought it was an appropriate shot considering the history of the building. It was amazing to stand in the actual room where the Declaration of Independence was signed and so began our amazing country. I am thankful everyday for my freedoms and the life I have been able to live because I am an American. I am thankful to all those men and women who have served, are serving. and especially to those who have given their lives that I might live without having to worry about mine. Happy Birthday America!!

Park your buggy here.
WOW--this week has really gotten away from me. I have been working on the new house and yesterday we had terrible storm with limbs all over the yard. (Pictures to come) So basically I haven't had much computer time. I went back through my oldies looking for a shot to post and remembered this one from our trip through the Amish country. This is the parking lot at a Wal-Mart in Pennsylvania. If you have never been through the this part of Pennsylvania, I recommend a road trip. We saw the most beautiful countryside there.
